Cold Mountain
They needed a monster to get a little girl back. They imprisoned him for the way he did it. Now they need the monster again to do what he does best. FBI Special Agent Diane Reskova waited with her team for a tracker to arrive on site in the Caribou Wilderness of California. A psychopath pursued unsuccessfully for two years by Reskova's team had kidnapped California Senator Fred Hokanson's niece, dragging her into the surrounding mountains. Hokanson recruits Jeremiah McDaniels unbeknownst to Reskova as the tracker. McDaniels, a Delta Force Colonel with CIA background, leads the FBI agents after Hughes. Ditching Reskova and her team, McDaniels saves Hokanson's niece and beheads her kidnapper, Stanton Hughes. 

After an off-hand remark McDaniels makes concerning a movie while accepting blame for the Hughes' fiasco, the press label him 'Cold Mountain'. Taken into custody on Reskova's orders, McDaniels avoids prison by public outcry and Senator Hokanson's intervention. With Hokanson's shadowy sponsorship, McDaniels becomes the enforcement arm of Reskova's team. With Kumar Rasheed, an Iraqi whose family McDaniels had saved during the second Iraq war, McDaniels supplies Reskova with a weapon she has neither asked for nor condones. 

Funneled between America and Iraq, McDaniels stays one step ahead of American bureaucrats more interested in appearances than the safety of the country. Reskova, at first repulsed by McDaniels' methods, soon embraces both the enigmatic McDaniels and his tactics. Reskova threads McDaniels and his Iraqi comrade Kumar Rasheed into her anti-terrorism unit with murderous result. McDaniels' background and deadly skills become a point of fascination for the bewildered Reskova as her attraction to McDaniels quickly rivals her dedication to the FBI. 
 
Peace
Brutally tempered during his imprisonment in Iraq, Peace (Pauley) becomes a deadly sentinel against America's enemies. Dan and Pauley walk to school together, beginning a lifetime friendship. Dan embraces honor and courage, while Pauley endures his school years in fear. They go their separate ways after high school, until fate reunites them in an Iraqi prison cell. Finally rejecting his fear, Pauley dedicates himself to following Dan's example. Earning his way onto the Navy Seal Team, Dan commands, Pauley embarks on a path paralleling Dan's. In dogged defense of their nation, Dan leads with concrete ideals, and Pauley follows from the shadows. Peace, as Pauley is known to his Seal Team comrades, blends honor and duty with darker means.
 
The Protectors
Connor Bradwick and Ellie James enforce the law in one of the perennially most dangerous cities in the country: Oakland, CA. Bradwick snaps when he and James bust in on a kidnapping ring, enslaving children for pornography. He brutally executes the three kidnappers, stunning James. He sets up the scene to pass for self-defense with Ellie James cooperation. Their ruse succeeds, triggering a two cop crackdown on crime the city of Oakland’s leaders scurry to stop. Dedicated to end ‘look the other way’ crime suppression tactics, ending in destruction and death for the common people in Oakland, Bradwick and James decide it’s time to go on offense.

Connor explains it this way after they rescue the kidnapped children, “The kids made me start thinking about how I want folks to look at us. I don’t care anymore to visit someone to tell them we found the people who broke into their business or house and robbed them blind. I want them to wave at us from their house or business as we go by because we prevent the gangbangers, drug dealers and thugs from terrorizing them.”

The crime war takes on different meaning when they bust an MS-13 El Salvadoran gangster’s illegal alien processing center. Connor and Ellie run headlong into a corrupt politician on the gangster’s payroll, and the terrorists behind him. Soon, everyday crime fighting busts become a fond memory.
